Adult Study
Sundays - 8:00 am except the 3rd Sunday when we have council.

Confirmation
Classes will be on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30
On November 2nd, we had a retreat on prayer at the church with around 25 students attending.

Community Meal
The Community Meal will be on the first Wednesday of each month from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Colman Community Center. Upcoming date is January 7th. All are welcome - hope to see you there!

Young Families Get Together
On Sunday, Dec. 14th, there will be a Young Family Gathering in the church basement at 10am following the service. Come and make an ornament! All supplies will be provided. Hot chocolate and goodies will also be available.
Upcoming events include a Couples’ Valentine’s dinner as well as a game night and a service project. Contact Brennan and Sarah Ahlers or Luke and Desarae Miles if you have questions and input.

Council meeting
Council meets the 3rd Sunday of every month at 8am.
Annual Council Retreat was held on Wednesday, August 20 to plan our upcoming year as well as God’s Work/Our Hands Sunday on Sept. 7.

Worship Events
On Dec. 7th, the Colman-Egan High School choir will be singing during church.
Sunday, Sept 7th we had our annual God’s Work/Our Hands Sunday., and it was a great success. Many people participated, and completed projects in the church and the community. Check out the pictures below.

Stepping Stones
On Dec. 14th, 3 year olds will be getting their Sharing books.
Baptismal banners will be handed out on the first anniversary of the child’s baptism. Pastor Dell will contact you for a date near the anniversary.

Body of Christ position
We are so pleased to announce that Laurie Hannasch will start on August 1 as our Body of Christ Coordinator. She brings many talents to the table to help all the people of Colman Lutheran work to live out our mission to “Live, Love, and Learn, through the Eyes of the Lord” Welcome Laurie!!!

Sunday School
Sunday School is held from 10:00 to 10:45.
NO Sunday School on December 21st, December 28th, and January 4th.
The Christmas program will be on Dec. 14th during worship service.

Noteworthy
Thank you to the Colman Girl Scouts troop for giving the children’s bags and stand in the entry of the church!
Projects included cleaning the church, putting together school kits and health kits for Lutheran World Relief, painting picnic tables in the city park, touching up the memorial statues in the Veterans Park, delivering cookies to the teachers, the fire department, and homes around town, weeding and cleaning the landscaping around the church.
