Classes will be on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30
On November 2 we are planning to have Sunday retreat on prayer at the church from 3:00- 6:30

Community Meal
The Community Meal will be on the first Wednesday of each month from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Colman Community Center. Upcoming date is October 1. All are welcome - hope to see you there!

Young Families Get Together
Oct. 26th at 11 am - Halloween Party at the Miles barn.
Other planned events include a Couples’ Valentine’s dinner as well as a game night and a service project. Contact Brennan and Sarah Ahlers or Luke and Desarae Miles if you have questions and input.

Council meeting
Annual Council Retreat was held on Wednesday, August 20 to plan our upcoming year as well as God’s Work/Our Hands Sunday on Sept. 7. Council meets the 3rd Sunday of every month at 8am.

Worship Events
Sunday, Sept 7th we had our annual God’s Work/Our Hands Sunday., and it was a great success. Many people participated, and completed projects in the church and the community. Check out the pictures below.
Nov. 9th - Reception of new members. There will be a new member class on Wed, Nov. 5th at 7 pm.

Stepping Stones
Sept. 28th - First Bibles presented to 3rd graders. Pastor Dell will meet with the students and their parents at 8 am that day for instruction.
Baptismal banners will be handed out on the first anniversary of the child’s baptism. Pastor Dell will contact you for a date near the anniversary.

Body of Christ position
We are so pleased to announce that Laurie Hannasch will start on August 1 as our Body of Christ Coordinator. She brings many talents to the table to help all the people of Colman Lutheran work to live out our mission to “Live, Love, and Learn, through the Eyes of the Lord” Welcome Laurie!!!
Projects included cleaning the church, putting together school kits and health kits for Lutheran World Relief, painting picnic tables in the city park, touching up the memorial statues in the Veterans Park, delivering cookies to the teachers, the fire department, and homes around town, weeding and cleaning the landscaping around the church.
